I created this linoprint with oil-based ink on hand-torn, natural-colored Lokta paper, and enhanced the finished print with the application of metal leaf. To me, this nature-inspired motif expresses a sense of boundless freedom and lightness. The whale, captured mid-motion, conveys a wonderful vitality through its dynamic, playful forms.
