The 'Offene Werkstatt Mainz' is a public makerspace based in Mainz, the birthplace of Johannes Gutenberg, the inventor of the moveable-type printing press. Therefore, we wanted to find a design that combines our makerspace with Gutenberg. We created a background of tools to resemble our makerspace and printed a silhouette of Gutenberg in the middle. He is holding a book with our logo in orange. The prints were made by Anna Rack, Hannah Hartge and Mathias Bächle.
