Freyja Fristad is a proud Wiradjuri artist who lives and works across Dharawal and Gadigal land (Sydney, Australia). This work captures the Matterhorn on a winter afternoon, as seen from the alpine village of Zermatt. Finely carved lines, printed through the linocut relief process, form part of her ongoing exploration of image construction and perception.
