I currently live on a wild bluff high above sea level in Northern California, surrounded by the ever-changing Pacific ocean on two sides of an acre of land. We have a huge and magnificent sea cave beneath us known locally at 'the Cathedral'. I often wish I could just transform into a wild sea creature whenever I wanted and dive into the depths of this mama ocean and see what I can see... She informs and inspires me daily, and her sounds and green/blue/purple colors are a constant backdrop to our lives. The original name that came to me for this little piece and submission - the very first time ever working with the mini press and all of the materials - was 'Blue Eyes Underwater'. My eyes are blue. And, I found the title was too long and distracting on the front of the prints, so I changed it to 'Ocean Eyes' which felt good also. I hope my ocean eyes never lose sight of this wild place of wonder.
