The landmark of the Dortmund-Hörde/Germany district is the Schlanke Mathilde, a cast-iron clock that was rebuilt in 1983 based on a historical model.
After a visit to the Open Print Exchange exhibition, I visited the market square there. This clock fascinated me so much that I immediately came up with the idea of creating a photo to be realised as an intaglio print.
