Inspired by Notpla's seaweed paper, I wanted to incorporate marine life into the design. The paper is made from flakes of recycled seaweed creating a lovely texture and subtle scent of the sea. I chose seaweed as the main element of the print so it incorporates with the paper, while leaving enough open space for the paper's natural texture to show through the design.
