An unknown artist set up vignettes throughout the downtown of a rural Cape Breton Town depicting a wall and a grouping of chairs in various configurations. As soon as I saw the vignettes, I thought of the energy and healing power of music and building community through a ceilidh. A ceilidh is a word descended from the Gaelic word for 'gathering' or 'party', and is a common occurrence throughout Cape Breton and the East Coast of Canada.
