Freyja Fristad is a proud Wiradjuri artist who lives and works on Dharawal Land (Sydney, Australia). Finely carved lines, printed through the linocut relief process, form part of her ongoing exploration of image construction and perception.
The Twelve Apostles are often imagined as fixed and monumental, yet they are gradually disappearing, with fewer than twelve now remaining. The formations hold a tension between endurance and fragility—the cliffs and sea stacks appear solid, yet are continuously reshaped by the sea through erosion and time.
