This little image of Venus' face is a study for a larger image of the Birth of Venus that I am presently working on. Both are on lino and in the white line style that I so dearly love and, yes, I am inspired by the works of Matisse. I reworked portions of my original image to suit this tiny print for the Open Print Project.
