My tiny print depicts a summer day by the Kumoba Pond in Karuizawa, which I visited in 2024. I often sat there it in the morning, before mokuhanga lessons, embracing the sound of nature. The image brings me back to that paceful time, moment of relaxation and inspiration during my residency in Japan.
