This edition of lino prints was inspired by the colourful stained glass windows I made at university nearly 25 years ago. Unlike working with large pieces of glass, this project was ambitious on a tiny scale. The prints which are 5cm square, were cut into sections based on my design and colour was rolled onto each piece individually before putting them back as a jigsaw puzzle to take each print. The smallest piece was a challenge to ink up and place correctly. This was one of the hardest things I’ve made and also one of the most fun! I am so happy with how they turned out.
